Meet the Doctors and Staff at Oak Hill Animal Hospital

Dr. Beth Brown McElhenny

Dr. Beth McElhenny and Kirby Dr. McElhenny is a Georgia native and graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. She has been practicing in Georgia for over 20 years, most recently in the Henry County – Stockbridge – McDonough area. She is the proud owner of four cats, three dogs and a Desert Tortoise. When asked what her greatest joy is in the veterinarian profession, Dr. McElhenny quickly replied, “I love solving puzzles. I love taking the clues from an ill pet and solving the mystery and resolving the problem.” Dr. McElhenny also strongly believes in teaching people, one-on-one, how to best care for their pet. She believes that educated pet owners build stronger bonds with their pets and that both the pets and the owners live much more satisfied lives as a result. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and scuba diving.

Dawn

Dawn and CricketDawn is the receptionist for Oak Hill Animal Hospital. She is a native of Georgia and has been around animals all of her life, from her dad’s hunting dogs to her pet ducks. She is excited to put her nursing and pharmacy background to use in a veterinary hospital. She resides in Henry County with her husband, two children and two dogs, Cricket and Bambam.

Sarah

SarahSarah is the veterinary assistant for Oak Hill Animal Hospital. She began her career in the veterinary industry in 2000. She lives in Henry County with her husband, two boys and her rescued dog and cat.
